Pastor and Leaders

Rev. Joseph Pike has served as the Senior Pastor of Goreville First Baptist Church since June 2014. He has a lovely wife, Allison, with whom he has been married to since 2008 and one daughter, Adrian. He has served faithfully in the ministry for over ten years both locally and throughout the Midwest. He received his bachelors degree in Biblical Studies from Hannibal LaGrange University located in Hannibal, MO, and is a graduate from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY where he completed his Masters of Divinity program in May, 2015.

Rev. Brian Murley is the youth minister of Goreville First Baptist Church. He has served faithfully in this role for the past 20 years. He is a loving father to two teenage children, Hannah and Caleb, and a devoted husband to wife Lisa. He has a heart to see youth grow in their relationship to Christ while also incorporating music into worship. He is a graduate of Murray State University.
